Here is an example of a good keynote

You are to put together a (six slide minimum) Keynote about the different types of fires, fires extinguishers, and how to properly use them.
Here is a link to use to help you on your way. You can use other resources as well.

Wednesday:

Daily Opener: Fire Extinguisher

Fun Ag Fact:

Farmers can grow corn on every continent except Antarctica.

Good day to all. Today you will finish up your fire safety posters, we will then present a few to the class, and end with taking our Fire Safety Quiz. So let's get started!

You will have 30 minutes to work on and complete your Fire Safety Keynotes. I will be circulating around the room to check and grade your projects. Then I will select a few students to share their work by presenting it to the class. This will also act as our review.

The last 20 minutes of class will be dedicated to taking the Fires Safety Test. The link is below.

Friday:
Daily Opener: Types of Rope

Fun Ag Fact:
California grows over 70% of all the asparagus grown in the United States. But, Washington grows more apples than any other state.

Today we are beginning our Rope Work Unit. Today we will be setting up our ropes, melting the ends, and learning some knots to tie. Your participation today will be two fold. You must follow and complete the few knots I tie in class and then you will need to look up a different knot on your own, tie it and show it to me, as your exit ticket out the door. Below is the best website I have found to use for learning different knots.
